About three hundred young people receive training here in specialized chemical professions as well as industrial, technical and commercial occupations. As focused, committed school-leavers you have access to a variety of educational options: You can choose between the classic dual education system including attendance at a vocational school and a combination of studying and practical training in a company. You can also gain an initial insight into the world of employment at the Chemiepark Knapsack by doing an internship.
The RHEIN-ERFT-AKADEMIE is the partner for professional qualification at the Chemiepark Knapsack. It is a vocational education establishment specializing in the chemical industry. As such, it is responsible for the theoretical teaching and further training of the employees at the Chemiepark Knapsack.
The trainees can choose from 20 different occupations requiring training in the three areas chemical, technical and commercial occupations. With its comprehensive and practically relevant know-know the academy prepares you for your everyday working life as a future specialist. Furthermore, the RHEIN-ERFT-AKADEMIE offers employees attractive opportunities for qualified further training in the form of master classes and studies parallel to employment.
In cooperation with the Federal Ministry of Education and Research the RHEIN-ERFT-AKADEMIE has been developing practical training and further training modules for the chemical industry since 2005. New scientific insights are thus made available for professional practice – to the benefit of both employees and companies.
